I’m Janet and I’ve made this blog to share my battle and experiences with mental health.
For years, I had made myself believe I was the only person in the world who felt the way I did, it took me a long time to find inner peace and love myself for who I am and it all started with journaling; I was lucky enough to find great healing through writing about my experiences and since, I have written various pieces about my battles with self-harm, medication, discrimination and self-love and acceptance.
Through sharing my experiences, I am able to live a happier, healthier life where I am able to bring much-needed awareness to mental health issues to inspire and support others.
I hope my blog touches another person’s life when it really matters. I want to remind someone out there that you are not alone, and whatever you’re facing at the moment, you are capable of getting through it and achieving greatness and happiness.
